The Internet is vastly different from simply opening up a business in a location with a limited demographic. Let's take the lemonade stand for example, you put up your lemonade stand you try to put it on a highway where there is lots of traffic and you put up your sign and if you're lucky there are not any other lemonade stands on your highway. Will you sell lemonade? More than likely you will. Now let's take that lemonade business and put it on the Internet. You open up your lemonade website you post your prices and you wait for your customers. But uh-oh you don't sell any lemonade. The reason is very simple, your lemonade stand is on the largest highway in the world and guess what there are lemonade stands on just about every square foot of that highway. What do you think the chances are of those people on that highway stopping at what your lemonade stand? The answer is probably next to none. The lesson to be learned here is, unlike your lemonade stand on a road in your geographical location and little or no competition; you now have more competition than you have customers.

I have been putting together a business on the Internet since August of 2006. I have learned a great deal in the past 6 months. As you know or as you will find out the Internet is full of scammers. But it is also full of good and honest people willing to help you be successful in your business. But let's be honest, everybody here is trying to make a living or make a fortune and the potential for the Fortune is enormous.
The bottom line to having a successful business on the Internet is to have a product or service that no one else has. And then you must figure out how to get all the traffic on that highway aware of the fact that you have a product and service no one else has.
How do you do this? Promote promote promote promote market market market market. The people who are making large sums of money on the Internet are people who come from marketing backgrounds. Sadly as we all know, marketers and advertisers tend to stretch the truth. Many of them are downright liars. So what can you offer on the Internet that few people have? Honesty! Of all the attributes and virtues that are on this great superhighway of information honest marketeers are rare and few. The vision that I have for this site is to be able to provide resources that are honest and effective to help you make your lemonade stand successful.
